IRT - 2013 Stockton Pro-Am - Round of 16

Another couple of upsets in the at the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) Stockton Pro-Am in Stockton, California, which have led to Daniel De La Rosa and Marco Rojas getting through to the quarter finals.

De La Rosa knocked off fellow Mexican Javier Moreno, 11-6, 8-11, 11-0, 11-6, in the Round of 16, and will play another Mexican in the quarter finals in 3rd Alvaro Beltran. Beltran beat Sebastian Franco in the 16s, 5-11, 11-4, 11-6, 11-9.

Marco Rojas defeated Andy Hawthorne, 11-2, 11-2, 8-11, 11-2, in the Round of 16 to set up a match with Rocky Carson, who was a straight game winner over David Horn, 11-2, 13-11, 11-3.

IRT #1 Kane Waselenchuk kept his winning streak going, as he knocked off Charlie Pratt in the 16s, 11-1, 11-7, 11-7. After a dominating first game, Waselenchuk found himself down 7-0 in game two. However, Waselenchuk ran off eleven unanswered points to take the game.

The IRT Network will web-cast the quarter finals from 4 PM PDT on Friday.
