Top two WPRO players to battle for SCS Title & Escrow Pro-Am Title

It will be #1 versus #2 again in a Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) final as Paola Longoria and Rhonda Rajsich - the #1 and #2, respectively, WPRO players - won their semi-final matches Saturday at the SCS Title and Escrow  Pro-Am in Herndon, Virginia. Longoria defeated 4th seed Krystal Csuk in three straight games, 11-0, 11-4, 11-5. Csuk was likely still feeling the effects of her five game battle with 5th seed Adrienne Fisher earlier in day.

For the second match in a row, Rajsich dropped the first game, but then came back to win, as she defeated 3rd seed Kerri Wachtel, 8-11, 11-0, 11-7, 11-4.

Rajsich would be well advised to not do that against Longoria on Sunday. Longoria hasn't lost a WPRO match since in a year, and hasn't lost a game since December, when Rajsich won the first two games of the Christmas Classic final, only to see Longoria come back and take the match in five games.

With a win on Sunday, Longoria would have 22 career titles, which puts her  5th all time (unofficially) behind Rajsich (25), Cheryl Gudinas (39), Michelle Gould (41) and Lynn Adams (43).
