WPRO - 2011 SCS Title & Escrow Pro-Am Round 1

Play has begun in the Women's Professional Racquetball Organization's (WPRO's) 2011 SCS Title and Escrow Pro-Am in Herndon, Virginia. The draw that we here at The Racquetball Blog speculated on is, in fact, correct (we're so smart!).

Christie Huczek has won her first match against Kimberly Ferina, 11-5, 11-7, 11-3, and will play Cheryl Gudinas in the Round of 16 later today.

Other early winners are T.J. Baumbaugh, who defeated Tracy Hawthorne, 11-4, 11-4, 12-10, Cristina Amaya, a 11-6, 11-5, 12-10 winner over Kimberly Irons, and Anita Maldonado won by default against Carolina Gomez.
