IRT Rankings - September 21, 2009

The International Racquetball Tour's (IRT's) latest rankings, which include the results from the first two events of the season, have been released. (the results are labeled "2008-2009" and "As of September 21, 2008" but we believe that's an error)

Kane Waselenehcuk continues to be #1, having won the first two events of the season. But Jack Huczek has gone past Rocky Carson into #2 based on his two semi-final victories over Carson in Denver and Indiana. Carson is now third.

Shane Vanderson has moved up the rankings, but only into 5th not 4th as was speculated on the IRT Network. So Vanderson's ahead of Jason Mannino, who's now 6th, but not Alvaro Beltran, who missed the first two tournaments through injury and may miss the entire season.

Beltran remains 4th, and is still over 300 points ahead of Vanderson. Vanderson's earned 555 points so far this season, so he may not be 4th even after next week's Kentucky Open.
